Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Do you have a story to tell?

Women in Hiding Press (WIHP) is accepting manuscripts, primarily nonfiction, however, compelling fiction will be considered, by women not served by mainstream publishers. 

We seek work that aims to illuminate and educate society through strong social commentary. Of Particular interest are narratives from senior women that dispute myths and advance the truth while promoting deeper understanding of women’s lives.

All authors are encouraged to use their real names, however, pseudonym's will be accepted.

To submit  your manuscript, please send a cover letter, synopsis and at least two sample chapters of your work to:

Please do not staple the pages. All pages should have your name at the top.

If you wish your submitted work returned, please include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient return postage.

Please allow three months for our review of you submission. Please provide a SASE or email address to receive our reply.

Authors should know that Women in Hiding Press does not pay for manuscripts. However, once accepted, WIHP incurs all the costs of producing the book.

Authors should understand that the purchase price of books published by Women in Hiding Press  will be shared by WIHP and the book author.  If your work is accepted, WIHP will explain this policy in detail.
